Plan!

One of the biggest tips we can offer for a stress free move is to plan. Before you make the move be sure to research your new neighbourhood. For example, how best to get there, how to navigate your new streets and where the closest supermarket and hardware store is.

Then make a list of all your services required at the new property such as gas, electric, internet etc as you will need to notify them of your move. This allows you to plan for how much time is needed to set up your new service connections, minising the hassle and stress.

Time to declutter!

There’s nothing better than the aftermath of a good decluttering exercise. We accumulate so much ‘stuff’ over the years so this is the perfect time to go through your belongings and decide what you want to donate, recycle or throw away.
